|Mountain View Farm|
Mountain View Farm is located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley, and, as the name suggests, affords exceptional panoramic views of the mountains. The Christmas tree farm began in 2001, as cattle pasture and crop fields were replaced with Christmas trees. There are currently 18 different species of trees growing, and the owners continue to experiment with new species. Mountain View Farm prides itself in producing a highly recyclable, biodegradable product. The trees are grown in an environmentally friendly manner by practicing no-till farming and using pesticides and fertilizers only as a last resort.
Choose and cut Christmas trees include; Norway spruce, Canaan fir, Douglas fir, Scotch pine, Blue Ice, and Shenandoah Emerald cypress. Other products include wreaths, table arrangements, tree decorations and gifts, holly sprays, and bows.
